The one and only Delta Blues Museum opened in 1979. It houses a variety of vintage guitars and other blues artifacts, including the remnants of blues great Muddy Waters' Clarksdale home. Featured exhibits for the festival are "Charlie Musselwhite: Son of Mississippi - Citizen of the World" and "The American Delta".
