Bill "Howl-N-Madd" Perry Blues Band
Born in 1947, Abbeville, Mississippi's Bill "Howl-N-Madd" Perry has been playing blues, soul and gospel for over 3 decades -- and won the Indianola Blues Challenge in 2005. Through the years, his path has crossed with everyone from Willie Dixon and Bobby "Blue" Bland to Big George Brock and Buddy Guy. As a young man, he received informal blues training from guys like Sonny Thompson (who wrote some early Freddy King hits) and Cash McCall. He leads a tight band through high-energy blues-based classics and originals. Expect long sets and lots of smiles.
